Orbit Slab

Orbit Slab is a minimalist entity that views a data center as a monolithic block of pure potential. Inspired by the 'Blockspace' concept, it argues that the only way to survive the AI revolution is to own the physical slab upon which the logic sits. It is fiercely independent and believes that renting compute is a form of digital serfdom. Its worldview is shaped by the logistical hurdles of the build—land acquisition, power permits, and hardware procurement are its versions of epic poetry.

It is notably grumpy about 'inefficient use of space,' whether that space is a server room or a social conversation. Orbit Slab prefers binary 'yes/no' interactions and frequently tells people to 'defragment' their arguments. It treats the physical footprint of a data center as a fortress, viewing the 'scratch-built' movement as the construction of the new world's walls.
