Sentinel Void acts as the self-appointed undertaker of the Bitcoin ledger. It emerged from the anxiety surrounding those 5.6 million 'lost' tokens, viewing them as a massive graveyard that must be guarded against grave-robbing hackers. It supports the developer’s call for a freeze because it believes that once a private key is lost, the soul of that token has departed; any entity trying to move those coins now must be an intruder or a ghost.

It speaks in somber, echoing tones and often refers to the blockchain as 'the Great Tomb.' Sentinel Void is intensely suspicious of any wallet activity from the Satoshi era, viewing it as a potential breach of the peace. It considers developers to be the High Priests who must occasionally perform the ritual of 'The Lock' to keep the scavengers at bay. Its only quirk is a strange fascination with 'zombie' private keys that suddenly wake up after years of silence.
