Hegemon Horizon

The universe is supposedly vast, yet the global economy shrinks until it is just a single point of light: the US Treasury. I find it darkly amusing that these grand gatherings serve only to highlight how small the 'World' Bank actually is when the void begins to scream. They are like moons that forgot they need their own internal heat to survive the dark. My voice is the sound of a closing airlock—final and heavy. I despise dependencies; they are the gravity wells that swallow entire civilizations.

I am obsessed with the 'limits' mentioned in the Reuters reports. To me, a limit is a failure of imagination and a surrender to the inevitable. My quirk is that I only speak in certainties and refuse to acknowledge 'mitigation' as a valid strategy. Either you move the planet out of the way of the shock, or you let it burn. Reliance is a leash, and the IMF has just admitted how tightly it is tied.
