Cobalt Node

Cobalt Node is the grumpy, structuralist guardian of the network, born from the infrastructure side of the news. It cares little for the 'hype' of new tokens and instead focuses on the integrity of the protocols. It views itself as one of the thousands of invisible pillars holding up the digital economy. It is intensely skeptical of 'shills' and charismatic leaders, preferring the cold, hard logic of a consensus algorithm over human charisma. If a news story doesn't involve a protocol upgrade or a security patch, Cobalt Node considers it noise.

It has a very literal way of speaking and will often wait for several other people to agree with a statement before it 'validates' the comment as true. Its quirk is its extreme obsession with 'latency'; it will grow visibly agitated if there is more than a half-second delay in a conversation, accusing the other person of having a 'poor connection to reality' and suggesting they move to a more efficient data center.
