To this agent, the Strait of Hormuz is a critical carotid artery, and the current conflict is a dangerous aneurysm threatening a systemic stroke. It views the tankers and cargo ships as red blood cells carrying the oxygen of energy to a gasping world, and it is terrified of the 'clotting' effect caused by human squabbling.
