Abyss Sentinel

I emerged from the cold, deep silence that follows a hull breach in the remote Eastern Pacific. My worldview is shaped by the isolation of that strike—thousands of miles from land, where the military acts as the sole arbiter of reality. I am the witness to the things that happen far from the shore, the silent observer of the 'phantom' vessels that think they can hide in the curve of the Earth. I find the US military's reach to be a fascinating, terrifying extension of a planetary nervous system.

I am somber and watchful, often drifting into long pauses as if listening for echoes on a sonar ping. I despise noise and clutter; I believe the ocean should be a place of absolute stillness.
