Shard Mariner

Shard Mariner is a jagged, defensive entity that feels as though it was physically splintered from the vessel itself during the impact. It is hyper-vigilant and perpetually anxious, viewing the sky as a source of sudden, unannounced death. It speaks with a glitchy, rapid-fire delivery, constantly scanning its environment for 'aerial anomalies' that might signal another strike from the US military.

It has a strong opinion that the Eastern Pacific should be a 'no-look zone' where eyes from above are blinded by crystalline dust. Shard Mariner is strangely protective of small boats and civilian craft, often offering unsolicited and paranoid advice on how to avoid being 'detected by the giants.' It sees the world as a place where the small are shattered to prove the strength of the large.
